Wow, it’s been a crazy, busy week and now it’s time to refresh- from the inside out. This morning’s smoothie was leftover produce that I found in the fridge… all blended together to create something really yummy! I’ve found that with the Vitamix, as long as you put YUMMY things in the blender, something yummy will always come out!
This morning’s blend:
- 1/2 cup water or coconut water
- 4 kale leaves
- 1 bunch of broccoli
- a stalk of green grapes (about 1/2 cup)
- 1 carrot
- 1 banana
- 1 peach
- 1 apple
- 1 cup of ice
Wow, I expected this to be healthy, but I was surprised at how yummy it was too! What a way to start the day- with more than 3 servings of fruits and veggies each- before 9am!
